Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your workflow and capture bugs faster with Jam's built-in keyboard shortcuts. Using these shortcuts allows you to trigger captures without navigating through the extension menu manually.

Global Shortcuts

These shortcuts work whenever you have the Jam browser extension installed and active:

• Alt + Shift + J: Open the Jam extension menu.

• Alt + Shift + S: Take a screenshot of the current page.

• Alt + Shift + V: Start a video screen recording.

• Alt + Shift + I: Capture an Instant Replay (the last 30 seconds of your activity).

Recording Controls

While you are in the middle of a screen recording, use these keys to manage your capture:

• Esc: Cancel the current recording or screenshot.

• Enter: Finish and save the recording.

Pro Tips

You can customize these shortcuts in your browser settings if they conflict with other extensions or system commands. To do this in Chrome, navigate to chrome://extensions/shortcuts and find Jam in the list.
