Using the Team Home Dashboard
Overview
The Team Home Dashboard is the central hub where Troopr AI provides a clear view of your team's progress. Instead of manually searching through Jira tickets or Slack threads, users can visit the dashboard to see a grounded summary of work based on real activity from Jira, GitHub, and Slack.
Key Insights
The dashboard is designed to answer three critical questions for engineering teams:
What shipped: A summary of completed tasks and merged pull requests, giving visibility into recent deliveries.
Who is blocked: Identification of stalled work or specific blockers that are preventing progress.
What needs attention: Highlights of overdue issues, unassigned tasks, or stale work that requires a team member's input.
How to Access the Dashboard
Users can access the Team Home Dashboard directly within the Troopr app in Slack. By navigating to the Home tab of the Troopr app, users can view the current state of the team without leaving their workspace.
Understanding Team Memory
The dashboard is powered by "Team Memory." Troopr forms its own view of the work by reading real activity across your connected tools. It cross-references this activity against your team's history to provide insights that are more accurate than manual status reports. This ensures that the information shown on the dashboard reflects what is actually happening in your projects.
Taking Action
The Team Home Dashboard is not just for viewing; it is built for coordination. Users can interact with the insights provided to:
Nudge team members: Address stale or overdue work with one-click actions.
Update Jira: Close the loop by approving suggested updates that Troopr drafts based on team activity.
Ask questions: Use the "Ask Troopr" feature to query the team state in plain language, such as asking "What are the risks this week?"
